In 2002, Georgiaﾒs Comprehensive Cancer Registry became gold certified following the criteria of the North American Association of Central Cancer Registries and the National Program of Cancer Registries of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It collected and evaluate statewide cancer incidence data.
