In 2004, The Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center received a $15 million gift from local philanthropist Henrietta Lee. This follows gifts of $5 million in 1998 and again in 2002. The first gift made it possible to create endowed chairs and establish the Harold E. and Henrietta C. Lee Breast Center.
