On Aug. 22, 2023, Alberta Innovates announced that more than $13.6 million will go to 19 partners, across Alberta, through the Alberta Innovates Ecosystem Development Partnerships Program.

Alberta Innovates planned to invest this new funding to support Alberta’s small and medium-sized technology companies and strengthen the province’s emerging technology ecosystem.

Alberta Innovates manages nearly 1,300 projects in a portfolio valued at $1.33 billion. They work with innovators in all sectors of the economy and all corners of the province to drive entrepreneurship, applied research and industry development.
