The Priestley Medal was awarded to Farrington Daniels
In April 1957, the American Chemical Society awarded the Priestley Medal to Farrington Daniels “to recognize distinguished services to chemistry,” the Society’s most prestigious award.
Farrington Daniels was a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin, Madison (1920-1972). Other institutional affiliations included Worcester Polytechnic Institute. His research interests involved kinetics and photochemistry
